Alaris Training for New Employees:
New employees will receive training during Patient Care Orientation.
Training includes:
- Completing the Alaris System & IV Set Accessories Online Training and the 2012 Alaris Infusion Pump Lessons Learned Powerpoint on eTrain
- Completing the IV Therapy Class, which provides hands on training on the Alaris pumps
Alaris Training for Current Employees transferring to a department that uses the Alaris Pumps:
Training of the transferring employee includes:
- Completing the Alaris System & IV Set Accessories Online Training and the 2012 Alaris Infusion Pump Lessons Learned Powerpoint on eTrain.
- Hands on training will be provided by the Clinical Mentor or by a nurse assigned to orient the transferring employee to the new department.
